About Me
Operating from offices in Naples, Florida, Jason Trochessett holds the position of First Vice President for Merrill Lynch, the wealth management division of Bank of America. With more than 20 years experience including 14 years with Merrill Lynch, he has built a wealth of experience guiding clients through the volatile conditions that marked the American financial markets during the last two decades. Jason Trochessett approaches each client’s portfolio with the knowledge that its assets are irreplaceable, and leverages his proficiency in income generation, risk management, and innovative financial modeling to better serve the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals and families nationwide.
Jason Trochessett entered financial services shortly after graduating from Loyola University in 1991 with a degree in Economics and Finance. In a move that would turn out to be pivotal in his career, he joined Milliken & Michaels, Inc., a major commercial credit services company. In his capacity as a commercial credit analyst and eventual manager of the legal recommendation department, Trochessett worked with several Fortune 500 companies, as well as with the Resolution Trust Company, the corporation formed to handle the assets of failed savings and loan associations. His work with RTC taught him a great deal about the problems that arise as a result of poor planning and failure to adhere to good management principles, and instilled in him a habit of careful and prudent analysis of all possible contingencies. In the ensuing two decades, this foresight has served Trochessett’s clients extremely well. Actively involved in several philanthropic endeavors, Jason Trochessett seeks to help those having difficulty facing life’s challenges, and enthusiastically supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American Cancer Society, among other charities. In his spare time, Trochessett is avid fly fisherman. He owns a fishing lodge in British Columbia on the Elk River, a famed trout stream, and permits his favorite charities to auction fishing trips at the lodge for their fundraising campaigns. |
